So this Halloween was Ava's 2nd Halloween but her first year trick-or-treating, and let me tell you she had a blast!!! It took her a couple of houses but once she figured out that people were going to be giving her candy she was all about it. She got a lot of candy, people thought she was so cute they were giving her like 3 and four pieces each! She has been on a candy high ever since.
We took Ava to the pumpkin patch today for some family fun and we had a blast! Ava got to pet some goats, go on a train ride, go through a mini maze and go up a down a huge blow-up slide/bounce house. We had such a great time and can't wait to go back next year!

Mike and I thought that Ava might be a little hesitant to climb this but it took her less than a minute. She just shot strait up to the top.
Well this summer has been a blast. We ended the summer by taking Ava to Burney Falls again (she did not love it as much as the first time). We had a big announcement that we are expecting again!! We got to go see the baby yesterday for the first time and it was really exciting. He or she was even moving around a bunch, it was really cute. Ava loves babies so we are really excited for her to be a big sister.

One of my very closest friends got married in Aspen a month ago and Mike and I had the wonderful pleasure of going to the wedding. Aspen was so pretty and Logan was such a beautiful bride, her wedding was like a scene from a movie.
Of course I can't post pictures of Aspen without having a nature shot. This is one of the views from where the rehearsal dinner was. Everywhere in Aspen looks this beautful, it was so relaxing and peaceful.
I really need to be better about updating this blog and posting more pictures of Ava. That is going to be a goal of mine this coming fall/winter. Summer has been fun and Ava of course has been so much fun. She never ceases to amaze me and make me laugh. She has such a love for life and such a kind heart. Here are some random pics of her.
Mike and I bought Ava this Mr. Potato Head set the other day and she LOVES it. It's one big mr. potato head with four small potato heads inside of it.
I just love this little towl of Ava's, my uncle got it for her for Christmas. She likes to get cozy in it after her nightly bath.
4th of July was really fun this year, we celebrated at a friends house and Ava had a blast. She did stay up long enough to watch the fireworks but only paid attention to them for like 10 min. Instead she just wanted to walk around and flirt with everyone and make sure that they thought she was cute :)

Ava has been so much fun to bring out on the boat this year, and to our surprise she is really tollerant of her life jacket, thank the lord!!
So this weekend was the Relay for Life and we had a lot of fun. Ava got all dressed up in her Redding Firefighter in Training shirt and she looked sooo cute! I had to also post this picture that I took of her when she was a baby baby in her RFD in training onsie. I can't believe how much she has grown and what a little grown up she is becoming.
